Job description

We are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for a data security specialist looking to join our cutting-edge team. Your key role will involve:

  • Proactively contributing to the evolution of our Data Security solutions by bringing your expertise and strategic vision

  • Precisely defining and optimizing detection and prevention policies and strategies to ensure the protection of sensitive data

  • Providing valuable assistance to the TDR (Threat Detection and Response) team by closely collaborating on the design and enhancement of cutting-edge technologies dedicated to protecting data in our renowned banking institution

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with the Blue Team and production teams for optimal synergy aimed at continuous improvement of our cyber defense and effective response to emerging threats

  • Rigorously overseeing DLP alerts in the project phase, ensuring proactive management and swift resolution of potential incidents

  • Conducting in-depth diagnosis and expert resolution of technical incidents related to our Data Protection platforms, ensuring the availability and integrity of crucial data for our organization

Requirements for the position:

As part of the required qualifications for the position in question, it is imperative to have proven expertise in various key areas. These areas include:

  • A deep mastery of installing, configuring, and operating Enterprise DLP tools, covering endpoint, network, and cloud aspects.

  • A sharp understanding of DLP detection mechanisms, including Regex handling, fingerprinting, EDM/IDM, and Machine Learning-based classification.

  • Proven experience in fine-tuning DLP policies to minimize false positives and false negatives.

  • Recognized expertise in administering cloud-based office suites, with a strong preference for extensive experience with M365.

  • Tangible experience in the Blue Team, particularly in managing data leakage-related incidents.

  • A deep knowledge of networking concepts, including layers 4 to 7, Web security gateways, TAP, firewalls, TLS inspection, SMTP, HTTP(S), ICAP protocols, among others.

  • A thorough understanding of Endpoint DLP mechanisms, including a keen awareness of their technical limitations.

  • A solid understanding of SaaS services and Shadow IT issues.

  • Mastery of data management concepts, including classification, labeling, and data lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of SIEM, ITSM, and CASB ecosystems.

  • Prior experience in the banking sector, accompanied by a deep understanding of associated business challenges.

  • A proven ability to simplify and raise awareness among different business areas about data loss prevention issues.

  • Automation skills, particularly through PowerShell, Python, REST API usage, and integration with SIEM solutions.

  • Strong organizational and writing skills, along with exemplary rigor in task execution, are essential prerequisites.

  • Fluency in French and a good command of English are also essential criteria for this position.
