Job description
For one of our clients, an insurance company located in Leudelange, we are looking for a TEST MANAGER.
!!! Position to be filled in 01/2027 !!!
Main missions:
As an Operational Test Manager, you are responsible for the quality of deliverables on your projects.
You intervene in a transversal manner in an agile environment, in close collaboration with all stakeholders involved.
This key role, with a strong impact, combines steering, coordination, and operational expertise.
The operational test manager is not intended to have hierarchical management responsibilities.
Required skills:
1/ Create and maintain test deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders:
• Project test strategy and its test families (unit, integration, end-to-end, acceptance, security, performance, ...)
• Estimate test effort and necessary resources (human, technical, organizational, documentation)
• Test planning consistent with project milestones and stakeholder availability
• Ensure alignment with the test methodology promoted by our client.
2/ Lead, coordinate, and facilitate test preparation and execution within a project
• Identify quality risks and propose mitigation plans in agreement with the project manager and stakeholders
• Supervise the design, execution, and monitoring of test campaigns (manual / automated)
• Specify necessary prerequisites, initiate their implementation, and ensure coordination (data, environments, test tools, ...)
• Ensure the quality of test plans produced by stakeholders to ensure optimal test coverage
• Make the quality of the delivery explicit and measurable
• Coordinate test activities among stakeholders (project manager, development teams, business, infrastructure, architecture, production…)
• Supervise anomaly management, particularly on cross-functional projects (qualification, monitoring, prioritization…)
• Facilitate test campaign preparation and execution for greater efficiency
3/ Produce reports, communicate, and follow up
• Define quality KPIs with stakeholders and monitor them (coverage, quality, anomalies…)
• Produce clear reports for teams and management
• Contribute to production deployment decisions (Go / No Go)
4/ Support and develop skills
• Unite stakeholders around quality issues
• Support stakeholders to ensure the application of good testing practices
• Promote collaboration among key stakeholders (IT, business, architecture, security, production…) to ensure the success of testing activities

Required skills:

• Excellent ability to explain quality issues to technical, business, and cross-functional teams
• Ability to report alerts and risks analytically and synthetically
2/ Technical skills
• Good knowledge of market test methodologies (ISTQB, Tmap, ...)
• Good knowledge of market methodologies (Agility and project management, ITIL, DevSecOps, etc..)
• Good knowledge of market test management tools
• Understanding of CI/CD test automation issues, deployment pipelines
• Excellent testing analysis knowledge and experience(s)
• Strong analytical, understanding, and structuring skills
3/ Additional assets
• Similar experience in an insurance (preferably), banking, and/or financial company
• Knowledge of the AI ecosystem and practice of tools is a plus
• Knowledge and use of test tools such as: Postman, Swagger, Playwright, Kapptivate, Jira, Xray…
4/ Seniority
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field
• Minimum of 6 years of testing experience, including:
o 3 years in test management
o 3 years in testing analysis or execution
• Experience in a complex environment (multi-teams, multi-projects)
• Proficiency in French
• Professional English
