Job description
We are currently seeking a highly qualified individual to assume the role of Fund Accounting Subject Matter Expert within our esteemed organization. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing a spectrum of fund event projects, encompassing the creation of new funds, migrations, mergers, prospectus changes, and liquidations.
The primary duties and responsibilities associated with this position include:
Serving as a distinguished Subject Matter Expert in Fund accounting under the purview of the Business Implementation department.
Encompassing all operational Fund Accounting facets during fund event projects, including new fund launches, fund migration in, mergers, and liquidations.
Establishing and executing a target operating model and NAV timeline in accordance with the bank’s exacting standards.
Issuing directives to all teams engaged in Fund Accounting service to ensure operational setup and In/Out flows readiness align with target operating model requisites.
Collaborating closely with fellow members of the project team to address cross-cutting subjects and fund accounting dependencies.
Ensuring the currency and quality of the client event pipeline, checklist, and project plan to showcase meticulous risk mitigation practices.
Engaging in routine project conference calls/meetings with clients and counterparties in the capacity of Business Implementation Fund Administration.
Coordinating and managing the In/Out flow connectivity with the Client and/or delegates, inclusive of testing with IT teams to ensure seamless readiness on day one.
Facilitating a smooth transition to ‘business as usual’ mode post-event for all Fund accounting and associated teams.
Actively contributing to the ongoing enhancement of fund event processes by proffering tangible and pragmatic solutions and spearheading Post Implementation Reviews as necessary.

Our ideal candidate should possess a profound understanding of Mutual/Hedge fund business intricacies, coupled with exceptional client-facing and negotiation acumen. Demonstrating superb organisational and project management skills is paramount for this role.
Proficiency in both French and English, with proficiency in additional languages being advantageous, is highly desirable. The ability to comprehend, elucidate, and champion change with a holistic perspective is a key attribute we seek.
The candidate should exhibit prowess in project management, process development, and adaptation. Furthermore, adeptness in managing and facilitating various professional gatherings such as meetings, seminars, committees, and training sessions is essential.
Moreover, a comprehensive understanding of sustainable development issues and the capability to seamlessly integrate them into daily operations are crucial.
A deep and technical comprehension of Fund Accounting, along with exposure to fund event processes like mergers, new fund launches, and new share-class introductions, is a prerequisite for this position.
