For one of our clients, an insurance company located in Leudelange, we are looking for an AUTOMATION TESTER.

Mission context:

As an automation tester, you will rely on our standard test automation tools and the Artificial Intelligence technologies deployed within the organization to optimize test coverage, speed up test campaigns, and improve early anomaly detection.

You are responsible for the quality (in terms of coverage, sustainability, maintainability, financial performance) of the automated tests implemented (on projects or when resolving test debts).

You intervene in a cross-functional manner in an agile environment, working closely with the involved stakeholders.

This key role, with a high impact, combines technical expertise in testing tools, expertise in testing methodologies, and the ability to operate in a context where AI plays an increasing role.

Main missions:

1/ Automate tests

• Analyze needs (business, functional, technical) to identify scenarios to automate.

• Design, develop, and assist teams in maintaining automation scripts, in line with the 'automated testing strategy' and best practices recommended by our client.

• Implement automated tests for areas:

o Functional, business, data migration.

o Technical (1to1 integration, end-to-end integration, API, ...).

o More specific (performance, portability).

• Ensure the quality (in terms of coverage, sustainability, maintainability, robustness, financial performance...) of automated tests.

• Ensure alignment with the testing methodology promoted by our client.

2/ Optimize test automation with AI usage

• Exploit the AI tools provided by our client to:

o generate test cases;

o produce test data sets;

o assist in the development of automation scripts;

o analyze test campaign results.

• Evaluate and integrate new AI solutions dedicated to testing, or even create them as needed.

• Help create and participate in the implementation of 'AI-Augmented Testing' practices.

3/ Quality and continuous improvement

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our client's 'automated testing strategy'.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes through AI technologies.

• Help stakeholders budget, plan, and design automated tests.

• Analyze, process, and document anomalies detected by tools.

• Participate in reviews of requirements and specifications to improve test automation.

• Contribute to the production and maintenance of documentation necessary for sharing knowledge on test automation topics within our client's shared space.

• Contribute to the improvement of QA and Dev(Sec)Ops processes.

4/ Continuous integration

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Support teams in monitoring their automated tests.

• Promote monitoring of automated test executions to ensure their proper functioning over time as part of test industrialization.

• Participate in incident analyses related to test campaigns.

5/ Support and skill development

• Unite stakeholders around quality issues.

• Support stakeholders in ensuring the application of good testing practices.

• Promote collaboration between key stakeholders (IT, business, architecture, security, production...) to ensure the successful completion of testing activities.

Job requirements

Skills required:

1/ Functional skills

• Good knowledge of market testing methodologies (ISTQB, Tmap, ...).

• Good knowledge of market methodologies (Agility and project management, ITIL, DevSecOps, etc.).

• Testing mindset.

• Good understanding of requirements management, functional analysis, risk management.

• Ability to explain the issues of automated tests and their use to technical, business, and cross-functional teams.

2/ Standard automation tools skills

• Good mastery of several technologies in place at our client's:

o Playwright

o Cucumber / Gherkin

o Sonarqube

o Postman / Bruno

o Appium

o Gatling

o Claude, Copilot

• Ability to self-train on new tools, in collaboration with the client.

3/ Desired AI skills

Generative AI

• Knowledge or experience with tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GPT-5, Claude, Github Copilot.

• Understanding of security, confidentiality, and compliance concepts related to AI usage.

• Ability to assess the relevance and reliability of generated content.

• Ability to self-train on new tools, in collaboration with the client.

4/ Additional assets

• Similar experience in a company in the insurance (preferably), banking, and/or financial sectors.

• Experience on projects integrating AI in a professional environment or similar experience for personal purposes.

5/ Seniority

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) or Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science or equivalent.

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in test automation.

• Experience in complex, multi-technology information systems.

• Proficiency in French / Professional English.
