VMware Solution Architect (BXL)

Aubay is an international IT services agency founded in 1998 who advises companies on their digital transformation. We are active in 7 European countries (France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, U.K.) and our offices are based in Brussels, Namur and Luxembourg (Belux Area).

On behalf of our main client in Brussels acting as the EU Diplomatic Service, we are actively looking for an Infrastructure Architect who specializes in Virtualization technologies, especially with VMWare.

As an Architect, you will be involved in designing, implementing, and managing VMware infrastructure solutions in a high secured environment.

Tasks:

•Lead the design and implementation of technology solutions for current and future projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

•Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive technical designs, including High Level and Low-Level Designs for VMware Infrastructure.

•Assess emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.

•Configure and reconfigure VMware virtualization platforms according to approved designs, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.

•Design robust, scalable, and flexible solution architectures, including architecture roadmaps, blueprints, prototypes, and proof of concepts.

•Provide expert technical advice on complex ICT infrastructure, including desktop and server environments, network topology, and applications, to support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of scalable architectures.

Profile:

•Proven experience as a VMware Solution Architect with extensive knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter, VCSA, VUM, and SSO.

•Strong understanding and application of High-Level and Low-Level Design principles, including Oracle consolidation in VMware ESXi 6.0 & 6.5.

•Experience with custom VMware infrastructure for GPU and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) projects.

•Familiarity with ITIL processes, capacity management, and storage architecture using virtualization heads from Hitachi and IBM SVC.

•Proficient in English (mandatory) and another EU language.

•Mandatory prerequisite : be eligible to an EU clearance
