Data Consultant with DataStage Expertise (IBM)

For one of our clients, a bank located in Luxembourg City, we are looking for several consultants specialized in Data, with a solid experience around the IBM DataStage tool.

Your Mission:

• Analyzing the needs of business teams

• Designing robust and optimized solutions and writing technical specifications

• Proposing a realistic planning of work and deliveries

• Developing Datastage flows according to the bank's standards

• Ensuring testing and supporting business teams during qualification

• Documenting and deploying solutions according to the bank's standards

• Ensuring maintenance, quality, and performance of delivered solutions

• Working closely with the project team (Data Engineers, business teams, IT Project Manager, Business Project Manager)

• Providing regular reporting on project progress and assigned tasks

• Identifying risks and proposing solutions to meet deadlines and objectives

Your profile:

• At least 10 years of experience in the Data field

• Advanced mastery of IBM Datastage (minimum 5 years of experience)

• Confirmed experience on Data Warehouse projects in a banking or financial environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Solid knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)

• Mastery of data modeling techniques (relational, multidimensional)

• Good communication skills

• Ease of integration and teamwork

• Rigor, autonomy, and priority management

• Sensitivity to data quality, traceability, and governance issues

• Experience with tools (Webfocus, Denodo, Dataiku, Power BI, Cloudera) is considered an advantage
