JAVA FULLSTACK DEVELOPER / TECH LEAD

For one of our clients, an insurance company located in Luxembourg City, we are looking for a Java FullStack Developer / Tech Lead

Job Description

Reporting to the Java Competence Center Manager, the candidate will be part of a team working on projects as well as on support and maintenance (corrective / evolutive) on various technologies.

• Participate in writing specifications based on user needs;

• Develop applications and associated tests

• Write documentation

• Deploy applications

The candidate will:

• Develop Web applications (Back and Front) using JAVA technologies (SpringBoot) and Angular;

• Act as a Tech Lead on Angular and Java applications within the digital squad;

• Propose improvements to the solutions provided;

• Ensure the writing of technical documentation;

• Contribute to user acceptance testing.

As a FullStack Digital Developer, the candidate will collaborate with the company's end clients while:

• Providing support to end users by applying support and investigation techniques (reproducing problematic cases in a pre-production environment, using knowledge bases, database investigation).

• Ensuring the follow-up of the request portfolio under their responsibility.

• Ensuring the monitoring and resolution of evolutive and corrective maintenance requests.

• Identifying and implementing improvement actions to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Technical and/or Functional Environment Description

• Hardware: PC with Windows

• Backend: Java 17, Springboot, Maven, Hibernate

• Frontend: Angular 17 and +, TypeScript, RxJS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, PrimeNG

• Other: SQL, Jenkins, Postman, Life insurance (Retail & Wealth)

Prerequisites

• Business: Ideally knowledge of Life Insurance in Luxembourg and Life Insurance in LPS. Knowledge of investment supports for insurance contracts in Luxembourg;

• Technical: B2B exchange platforms;

• Functional: Fullstack developer analyst;

• Technological: Java 17, Springboot, Maven, Hibernate, Angular 17, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, PrimeNG;

• Languages: French / English;

• Others: Autonomy, ability to work in a team.
