Java / Vue.js Fullstack Development (Back Dominant) Senior (METZ - FR)

For one of our clients in the retail sector in Metz, we are looking for several JAVA FULLSTACK Developers - Back Dominant - SENIOR

Mission Context:

The Front Store Digital Factory designs and develops front-office digital services for store employees, including web and mobile applications, relying on technology, design, and product management experts to optimize the employee experience.

Your mission:

The mission involves leading the team responsible for the evolution of in-store checkout solutions (traditional, self-service, self-scanning). As a Tech Lead, your mission revolves around three major axes:

- IT project management and monitoring: Ensure technical coordination, priority management, and smooth delivery throughout the software lifecycle.

- Technical expertise and development: Actively participate in the development and maintenance of digital services, ensuring their robustness, technical excellence, and alignment with store operational needs.

- Supervision and mentoring: Support the team on a daily basis, lead architecture choices, and promote developers' skills development.

Deliverables:

● Code and quality: Secure code on key components (Java, Spring Boot) and code review validation.

● Architecture: Technical design documents, up-to-date diagrams, and definition of best practices.

● IT management: Technical roadmaps and project monitoring indicators (progress, quality, technical debt).

● Supervision: Knowledge sharing and skills development materials for the team.

Technical Environment:

Must Have

● Contribute to continuous product quality improvement and development practices

● CI/CD and Tools: Proficiency in Git and good understanding of continuous deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent).

● IT project management: Mastery of tracking tools (Jira, Confluence) for ticket, sprint, and technical debt management.

Nice to Have

● Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications with Java, Spring Boot, and Vue.js

● Architect microservices and event-driven solutions

● Manage relational and document-oriented databases

● Integrate craftsmanship principles and best practices such as SOLID, YAGNI, and test coverage with Sonar

● Participate in all software lifecycle phases from design to production and run

● Ensure maintenance and evolution of existing applications

Your profile:

● Bac+5 degree (engineering school or university) in computer science, or equivalent experience

● Over 7 years of experience in Java / Vue.js Fullstack Development (Back Dominant)

● Validated Tech Lead experience

● Experience in the retail sector / large distribution would be an advantage
