Consultant Developer COBOL/JAVA/DB2 (Ref.: 448)

As part of this mission, you will be required to:

• Collaborate closely with other experts such as developers, designers, business analysts, and product owners

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor solutions in Java 8

• Actively participate in continuous improvement and modernization of the domain

• Acquire in-depth expertise in a specific area of the application

Our team consists of a Product Owner, a Business Analyst, a Scrum Master, and several developers working within the Scrum framework. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure the success of your projects.

Required Skills:

• Mastery of procedural programming (COBOL) for maintaining applications migrated to JAVA.

• Experience with relational databases (Db2).

• Mastery of Object-Oriented programming (Java 8).

• Mastery of BASH.

• Ability to mentor and train peers through code reviews, pair programming, etc.

• Thorough knowledge of the development chain and ability to justify architectural choices.

• Mastery of continuous deployment tools (K8s, Jenkins, etc.).

Additional Skills:

• Experience in unit testing frameworks.

• Presentation of personal projects via platforms such as GitHub to stand out.
