Infrastructure Expert (Engineering & Production Cloud Infrastructure Architecture)

For one of our clients, a bank located in Luxembourg, we are looking for an Infrastructure Expert in the field of Cloud infrastructure engineering & architecture.

Your mission:

• Participation in defining the technical solution

• Promote solutions based on existing products and services

• Anticipate compliance issues

• Integration of Production and infrastructure requirements

• Ensure the addition of infrastructure requirements in the Product backlog as well as any necessary technical user stories

• Support development teams

• Implementation of technical user stories

• Monitor team's skills development in production best practices

• Raise awareness and promote best practices

• Training and support team members in adopting tools

• Monitor the availability of Production and infrastructure resources by facilitating solution deployment

• Provide the team with Production services and resources by mobilizing the right expertise and using automation solutions

• Facilitate solution deployment using automation pipelines

• Verify the operability of technical environments

• Contribute to security reviews

• Identify operational bottlenecks and propose action plans

• Maintain operational conditions

• Contribute to defining service levels

• Set up monitoring in collaboration with SRE

• Monitor the availability of documentation and ensure it is up to date

• Monitor the existence and testing of a switchover plan for continuity

• Monitor support in case of blockage or incident on version deliveries, escalating to SRE

• Contribute to continuous improvement in production

• Contribute with improvement proposals in collaboration with SRE

• Identify best practices and share them

• Contribute to heritage review and obsolescence management

Mission objectives

As part of an Agile / DevOps approach, the selected person will be integrated into product Squads as an expert, relay, and Production guarantor throughout the product cycle.

Cloud projects considering production requirements: contribution to defining the technical solution, stability of technical environments (Production / non-Production), monitoring and supervision of technical solutions.

Responsible for coordinating actions of other Production teams on project tasks but also responsible for coordinating and monitoring actions during incidents, mobilizing necessary people for their resolution, and writing reports.

Participation in project team meetings and involvement in collective activities and decisions (evaluation of complexity, risks, etc.) throughout the project. Application production best practices in collaboration with other teams and sharing them.

Close relationship with the Cloud team to assimilate the Cloud setup, especially for delivery pipelines.

Implementation of the most automated solutions possible for provisioning and deployment to minimize manual tasks.

Good communication skills, comfortable working in a team and adapting to different situations and environments, organized and rigorous, high autonomy while maintaining good reporting to management, ability to write and share knowledge.

Monitoring application, middleware, and services evolutions within the scope of responsibility.
