Job description
For one of our public sector clients in Luxembourg, we are looking for multiple Web Application Testers (Angular & Dotnet).
Your mission:
Understand business needs, functional specifications (User Stories, Use Cases), and technical aspects to define test strategy and test plans for applications.
Write detailed, clear, and relevant test cases in Azure DevOps, covering different aspects of the application.
Prepare necessary test data for test execution.
Execute test campaigns (manual and automated) via Azure DevOps according to established plans. Actively participate in setting up, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts with Cypress.
Identify, accurately document (reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, screenshots, logs), and track anomalies in a bug management tool (integrated into Azure DevOps).
Design and execute regression test campaigns (manual and automated) to ensure that new features or fixes have not introduced regressions on existing functionalities.
Participate in integration testing between different microservices and with external systems.
Assist business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases and help formalize their feedback.
Produce test progress reports, test campaign summaries, and quality indicators (number of anomalies, test coverage, etc.) from Azure DevOps.
Work closely with Business Analysts to understand requirements, with Developers to analyze and resolve anomalies, and with Project Managers to monitor quality.
Contribute to improving methodologies, tools (Azure DevOps), and test processes, with a focus on increasing automated test coverage (Cypress).
Job requirements
Your profile:
Experience
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as an Application Tester or QA/Test Engineer, on complex web application development projects (Angular, .NET).
Experience with Azure DevOps for test management or similar tool is desired.
Experience in testing ERP or business applications in finance or population management domains, particularly in a migration context, would be a plus.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using CI/CD tools (Gitlab).
Software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level or Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer) is an advantage.
Behavioral Skills

Ability to communicate test results and identified anomalies clearly and concisely.

Strong ability to work in a team with developers, BAs, and other stakeholders.
Desire to understand how applications work and to learn new testing techniques and tools, especially in automation.
Ability to assess application quality impartially.
