Windows Solution Architect (Brussels)

On behalf of our main client acting as the EU Diplomatic Service, we are actively looking for an IT Solution Architect specializing in Windows Solutions.

As a Windows Solution Architect, you will be responsible for delivering challenging and complex IT projects within a highly secure environment. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and flexible Windows-based solutions.

Tasks:

• Develop comprehensive solution architectures, including preparing architecture roadmaps, delivering blueprints, designing prototypes, and proof of concepts.

• Deliver high-level and low-level solution designs.

• Design effective architectures and services based on extensive ICT knowledge and experience, aligning with organizational objectives and business requirements.

• Contribute to the development of ICT policies and procedures for the proposed architecture solution, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and security requirements.

• Provide high-level expert technical advice on complex desktop and server environments, network topology, ICT infrastructure, and applications to position the solution effectively against competing vendors’ offerings.

• Plan, implement, and maintain a robust and scalable architecture to support the proposed solution and its future enhancements.

• Relevant experience as a Solution Architect in large and complex projects, providing solution design services.

• Strong skills in service design best practices, service performance monitoring and tuning, and service interface specifications.

• Extensive experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and related technologies.

• Strong experience with IT Security (PKI, encryption, server hardening, etc.).

• Ability to provide in-depth and high-level technical presentations for stakeholders at different technical levels and to work in a multicultural environment.

• Proficiency in English is a must. Any other language is an asset.
