Job description

An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified individual as a Systems Supervisor within our outstanding team. The responsibilities associated with this position include:

  • Monitoring systems using monitoring tools

  • Analysis of system and operational alerts, with first-line intervention for their resolution

  • Implementation and monitoring of operational activities

  • Identification and diagnosis of incidents; application of escalation and standby procedures

  • Handling customer requests with appropriate communication and contribution to operational reporting

  • Prioritizing actions in compliance with contractual SLAs

  • Creation and updating of documentation related to client environments and administration tools

  • Participation in the Service Desk outside of office hours (call reception, ticket follow-up, standby coordination)

Location and Schedule of the Position

You will work on rotating 8-hour shifts (06h–14h | 14h–22h | 22h–06h) or during the day according to the schedule, with team standby participation. The position is based in Luxembourg, across multiple sites and in our data centers on weekends during nights and holidays.

Job requirements

The required criteria for the position are as follows:

  • Hold a degree at Bachelor's or Master's level in Computer Science

  • Have at least two years of professional experience in a similar role

  • Hold a valid B driving license in Luxembourg

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of systems, networks, telecommunications, and security, including Windows, Linux, Backup/Storage/Virtualization

  • Any certification is an additional advantage

  • Master ITIL best practices

  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills, a service-oriented attitude, and excellent communication skills (written and oral)

  • Show proactivity, autonomy, and teamwork spirit

  • Have excellent command of French and English; knowledge of German and/or Luxembourgish is a plus
