🌟 Your Mission

As a CMDB Steward, you will act, for one of our client, as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) and governance facilitator, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and reliable configuration data across domains.

You will play a pivotal role in strengthening CMDB health, driving continuous improvement, and enabling better decision-making through trusted data.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

📊 Data Quality & Governance

• Monitor CMDB health and detect inconsistencies (missing CIs, orphan records, broken relationships, etc.)

• Identify, track, and escalate data breaches to the appropriate stakeholders

• Lead CMDB Health reviews and quality audits

🧭 Advisory & Expertise

• Provide guidance on CMDB governance, lifecycle standards, and relationship modeling

• Support CI Managers and Data Owners with best practices

• Ensure alignment with scalable and compliant solutions

🗺️ Service Mapping & Onboarding

• Support application and service mapping initiatives in ServiceNow

• Build and validate service models and relationships

• Assist onboarding of new applications into the CMDB

🔄 Continuous Improvement

• Analyze recurring data issues and identify root causes

• Drive remediation plans and track actions to completion

• Propose enhancements to governance and CMDB processes

🤝 Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

• Contribute to backlog refinement and prioritization

📚 Training & Awareness

• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings

• Create and maintain documentation

• Promote CMDB governance and best practices

✅ What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB

• ServiceNow CSA certification (required)

• ServiceNow CIS – Data Foundation (strongly preferred)

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication (English & French mandatory)

• Proactive, structured, and collaborative mindset

• Ability to influence and guide multiple stakeholders

Bonus Qualities

• Experience working in Agile environments

• Strong understanding of ITOM and CMDB data models

• Passion for continuous learning and process improvement
