Business Implementation Consultant (ref.: 429)

This esteemed role entails the meticulous management of fund event projects, encompassing a myriad of services for our esteemed clientele. The spectrum of events includes, albeit is not confined to:

• Commencement of new funds/sub-funds

• Funds migrations In or Out

• Integration of sub-funds

• Disposition of funds/sub-funds

• Alteration of fund/sub-fund related entities

• Modifications to prospectuses

The intricate structures involved may be subject to diverse legal frameworks and may encompass both conventional and innovative/hybrid structures.

Operating within the esteemed Business Implementation Department, the Consultant is tasked with providing an array of distinguished services, including:

• Functioning as a primary liaison for key Clients and serving as their internal sponsor

• Cultivating enduring relationships with Clients to facilitate pivotal structuring projects

• Overseeing comprehensive business operational implementation projects

• Nurturing collaborative relationships with internal counterparts

• Supervising project teams and collating requirements for novel business ventures

• Ensuring the timely completion of project deliverables in conjunction with stakeholders

• Implementing the Target Operating Model in partnership with clients

• Managing both internal and external communications with key stakeholders

• Proactively escalating potential issues to the upper echelons of Management

• Maintaining meticulous on-boarding plans and project logs

• Actively engaging in the perpetual enhancement of the onboarding process through the proposition of pragmatic solutions

• Effectively managing any deviations with the Business Implementation Operation Project Manager, Business Change Manager, and IT

Expected Outcomes / Deliverables: The successful and timely delivery of projects within the stipulated timeframes.

Prerequisites for the Offer:

Applicants are required to possess the following essential elements:

• Proficiency in the financial services sector, particularly within a Financial Securities Service provider or a Management Company

• Demonstrated experience in Operational Project Management, coupled with a strong technical acumen in the underlying products

• A comprehensive understanding in one of the following business lines:

  • Financial Advisory and Transfer Agency (FA – TA)

  • Custody, with preferable exposure to Fund Dealing

  • Expertise in Depositary Function

  • Knowledge of Fund Distribution processes

  • Proficiency in Middle Office operations

  • Understanding of Foreign Exchange (FX) transactions

• Proficiency in both French and English languages

• Proficiency in German would be considered an additional advantage
