About the mission

As part of our client's Data & AI transformation, we are looking for a Senior Data Scientist consultant to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that have a measurable impact on the activities of our client, an insurance company located in Leudelange.

Desired Skills

• Design, develop, and deploy data science and machine learning models (segmentation, churn, fraud, marketing, forecasting, optimization).

• Translate business challenges into concrete and measurable analytical solutions.

• Manage use cases end-to-end: data exploration, feature engineering, modeling, evaluation, production deployment, and monitoring.

• Define performance metrics, ensure model robustness, and manage their evolution over time (re-calibration, drift).

• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, IT, AI, and business teams for model industrialization.

• Document work done and support business teams in adopting solutions.

• Ensure explainability, compliance, and responsible use of models in a regulated environment.

• Contribute to the Group's data science best practices and the development of reusable components and models.

• Act as a technical reference and contribute to the upskilling of more junior profiles.

Your Profile:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in applied data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics.

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as major machine learning techniques.

• Proven experience in model deployment and collaboration with Data Engineering / IT teams.

• Good understanding of data quality, model performance, and monitoring issues.

• Ability to work on complex business challenges and deliver pragmatic, actionable solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business and technical stakeholders.

• Experience in insurance, finance, or a regulated environment is a plus.

• Master's degree in Data Science, AI, computer science, or equivalent experience.

• Languages: Fluent French (mandatory), Professional English (major asset).
