Join us as a Consultant/BA Application Support Accounting & Finance (M/F)

You have expertise in accounting/finance and want to evolve in a stimulating IT environment at the heart of life insurance? This position is for you!

Incident management and support:

  •  Manage the reception of requests (incident monitoring, support requests, alerts, ...),

  •  Handle support requests: Incident management, user support, ...

  •  Write or upgrade operating procedures, knowledge base of the heritage

 

Problem management and corrective maintenance:

  •  Search for root causes,

  •  Specification and quantification of solutions,

  •  Implementation of corrective solutions (monitoring of achievements, acceptance testing and production deployment, ...)

  •  Update documentation

 

Management of evolution requests:

  •  Qualification and quantification of requests,

  •  Perform analyses, implement solutions in collaboration with development teams and/or solution editors.

  •  Define and perform tests before production deployment,

  •  Update documentation

 

Project request management

  •  Ensure the alignment of project developments with business operational processes and IT platform standards

  •  Establish requirement documents,

  •  Ensure functional validation of the solution to be implemented,

  •  Establish test strategy, write test cases and execute tests,

  •  Contribute to user acceptance testing,

  •  Provide functional support during project warranty period.

 

He/She will be particularly responsible for requests and projects in the accounting and finance domain supporting:

  • The accounting application (IRIS de Talentia) and its peripherals,

  • The main flows and processes managed and supported in the context of our 'Accounting and Finance' activity

e.g.: Transmission and integration of accounting entries in our application; bank reconciliation and vs. accounting matching

Monthly closings

Financial flows (payments, direct debits, invoices, expense reports)

Accounting interface: handling rejections

 

Expected Results / Deliverables

This will involve:

  •  Monitoring and handling of tickets/requests in accordance with SLAs and planning,

  •  Required deliverables according to the activity,

  •  Appropriate documentation

Job requirements

Technical and/or functional prerequisites of the mission

The prerequisites are as follows:

  •  Software(s): IRIS, Multiline, JUMP Life, Octane, Service Now, Jira

  •  Other: XML; RPG/CLP (IRIS) SQL, Excel, Office Suite, RegEx, WebServices, CFT, MQ

  •  Business: Finance-Accounting / Life Insurance in Luxembourg and Life Insurance in LPS

  •  Standards & Processes: Knowledge of key processes in Life Insurance, Knowledge of Financial Instruments,

  •  Functional: Knowledge of general accounting, knowledge of life insurance accounting

  •  Languages: French
